Perfect applications for cylindrical internal lubrication With the ABNOX Rotary Dosing Unit AXDV-R1, lubricants (greases and oils) in different layer thicknesses, can be dosed into cylindrical bodies. Thus, different diameters can be processed without retooling and by the use of a motorised moving system, a sequential machining of the components in the axial direction is possible. Due to the innovative concept of the media guide through the centre axis of the drive motor, a significant reduction of the dead volume after the dosing element could be achieved. Due to the modular design, different lance lengths and centrifuge plate diameters can be realized. Based on the use of a servo motor, variable, media-dependent speeds can be realised. The integrated speed monitoring allows the monitoring of the rotation of the lance and thus the dispensing of the medium to be dosed. Thanks to the integrated Vario-metering valve, the required dosing quantity can repeat the lubricant application, or be adapted to the travel in the axial direction.
