Overview
Automatic converting machine to produce mono-material, reusable and fully recyclable trays/packages from PP or PE hollow profile sheets (Cartonplast). Designed for on-site or factory use in agricultural packing lines (fruit, vegetables) and applicable to fish, meat, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.

Description
AGRIPAK developed a forming and welding solution to meet demand for mono-material packaging. The machine automatically forms and assembles trays with or without bearing corners: head-folds are welded inside and upper bands folded and welded to the inner folds using hot air jets. The process avoids adhesives and hot melts.

  • Mono-material trays: 100% PP or PE, fully recyclable without glue or hot melt.
  • Lower operating cost compared with adhesive systems, since welding uses only hot air.
  • Stronger joints: hot-air welding fuses the two mating faces, preventing delamination and providing better resistance under extreme temperatures and high humidity.
  • Low energy consumption: approximately 1.5 kWh.
  • Compact and transportable design for easy loading onto a truck and on-site operation during harvest season.
