Overview
Converting machines for PP hollow-profile sheets and interlayer (layer) pads. Growing demand for sealed-flute hollow-profile sheets and interlayer pads led AGRIPAK to develop dedicated sealing and corner-cutting solutions to meet production and hygiene requirements.

Available machines

• A) Fully automatic corner-cutting with linear and corner sealing: for PP hollow-profile sheets and bubble-guard interlayer pads (3.0–4.5 mm). From rectangular or square pre-cut sheets (previously sealed in flute direction on the extrusion line), the system feeds, squares, rounds corners, seals both counter-flute sides and the four rounded edges, then counts and stacks sealed pads on a pallet automatically.
• B) Fully automatic linear and corner sealing: for PP hollow-profile sheets and bubble-guard interlayer pads (3.0–4.5 mm). From pre die-cut pads, the machine performs four linear side seals and four rounded-corner seals, then automatically counts and stacks the sealed pads on a pallet.
• C) Semi-automatic simultaneous two-side linear sealing: for linear side sealing of PP hollow-profile sheets and bubble-guard sheets (3.0–10 mm). Sheets are manually fed and automatically conveyed through the linear sealing section. Full four-side sealing requires two passes (counter-flute and flute-direction). Sealed sheets are automatically ejected. Also suitable for sealing advertising, partition or facade panels to prevent ingress into flutes and to enable full surface disinfection.
• D) Semi-automatic simultaneous two rounded-corner sealing: for round-corner sealing of pre die-cut PP hollow-profile sheets and bubble-guard sheets (3.0–10 mm). The machine guides sheets through rounded-corner sealing; full four-corner sealing requires two passes. Sealed sheets are automatically ejected. Suitable for panel edge sealing to avoid contamination ingress and to facilitate disinfection.
• E) Semi-automatic single-side linear sealing (option for single rounded-corner sealing): for linear side sealing of PP hollow-profile sheets and bubble-guard sheets (3.0–10 mm). With an optional unit it can perform rounded-corner sealing (corners must be pre die-cut). Manual feeding with automatic transport; multiple passes required for complete 4-side and corner sealing. Ejection is automatic in the linear section; rounded-corner section requires manual sheet removal after automatic ejection.

Applications and advantages

• Production of sealed-flute PP hollow-profile sheets and interlayer pads for bottle separators, pallet layers and packaging.
• Support for fully automatic and semi-automatic workflows: feeding, squaring, corner cutting, linear and corner sealing, counting and pallet stacking.
• Side and corner sealing provide hygienic panels and layer pads that are easier to disinfect and reduce ingress of impurities or biological contaminants, extending usable life.
