Overview
To comply with the new EU directive on reusable and recyclable packaging, Agripak has developed a dedicated edge rolling and sealing machine for Cartonplast sheets (PP hollow profile sheets). The unit prevents bacteria, dust and dirt from penetrating the flutes and is designed for sealing and rolling the top and bottom edges of Cartonplast box pallet sleeves.

Configurations

• Single-head: single-head edge rolling and sealing for processing one linear side at a time.
• Double-head: double-head edge rolling and sealing for simultaneous processing of two opposite linear sides of a Cartonplast sheet.

Integration and Use
The machine can operate as a stand-alone station or be integrated in-line on a Cartonplast sheet extrusion line or in-line with hot creasing machines for continuous production.

Visual / Process Examples
Examples include edge-rolled Cartonplast with different flute thicknesses (illustrations show 5 mm and 10 mm) and the Edge Rolling and Sealing unit used alongside extrusion/coextrusion lines.
