Overview
The IEC 60068-2-32 Pneumatic Free-Drop Impact Test Machine performs controlled free-fall impact tests on small electronic products and components. The device uses a pneumatic clamp and an electrically adjustable lift to set and release specimens onto selectable drop floors, with height indicated by a scale and LED digital display.

Application

• Designed for free-fall impact testing of consumer and industrial small electronics such as mobile phones, two-way radios, electronic dictionaries, building intercoms, chargers, power supplies and portable media players.

Product Description
The tester secures samples in a fixture with pneumatic clamping and silicone rubber contact pads. Samples are released to fall without packaging and with batteries attached or removed per the applicable standard. Typical procedure: free drop from specified height (e.g. 1000 mm) onto a steel drop plate; superficial scratches or small dents are tolerated while functional and assembly criteria must comply with standards.

Features
The machine integrates pneumatic release, adjustable electric lifting, and an LED height display. Multiple interchangeable drop floors are supported to meet different test protocols. A protective enclosure prevents parts from ejecting during tests and supports operator safety.
