Description

Overview
Triaxial capacitive analog MEMS accelerometer ASC 5425MF designed for medium-frequency measurement tasks. Selectable measurement ranges, differential analog voltage output and a wide frequency response enable detection of very small accelerations in three axes for industrial and test applications.

Technology
The ASC 5425MF is based on proven MEMS capacitive sensing. Integrated electronics provide a differential analog voltage output (±2.7 V FSO) and a flexible supply voltage from 5 to 40 VDC. The MF (Medium-Frequency) version delivers a frequency response of 0 Hz to 7 kHz (±3 dB) and is shock resistant up to 6,000 g.

Housing
Rugged stainless steel housing with protection class IP65. Device includes an integrated cable; length and connector type can be configured to suit installation requirements.

Applications
Suitable for detection of very small accelerations across a wide frequency range in three degrees of freedom. Typical uses: test benches, vehicle and road monitoring, resonance and flutter tests in aerospace, structural dynamics and vibration analysis.
