OverviewThe uniaxial accelerometer ASC RAIL-1151LN is based on MEMS capacitive sensing. Integrated electronics provide a differential analog voltage output (±4 V FSO) and a wide supply range (6–40 VDC), designed for railway applications and harsh environments.
HousingThe sensor features a non-flammable stainless-steel housing (V2A, material no. 1.4301) with protection class IP68. It is delivered with an integrated cable; cable length and connector type are configurable.
Standards and testingDocumented and tested according to EN 50155 to simplify integration in rolling-stock systems and reduce operator documentation effort.
ApplicationsThe ASC RAIL housing enables reliable operation in harsh conditions. Typical uses include bogie stability testing, vehicle and component monitoring in rail transport, and inertial measurements in railway systems.
