BBPXMS-PH is a square multilayer piezoelectric stack actuator with a central bore. Multilayer ceramic chips are axially stacked and bonded with epoxy to generate controlled axial micromovements suitable for precision positioning and dynamic actuation in industrial applications.

Construction and options

• Ceramic side insulation with Kapton® tape wrapping; standard leads are approximately 75 mm long.
• Ceramic end caps available in flat or hemispherical shapes to suit contact geometry.
• Dimensions, drive voltage and surface coating can be customized to application requirements.

Use and selection

• Each line corresponds to one configuration; select drive voltage, displacement, frequency and force together.
• Actual displacement depends on drive voltage, preload and mounting. Avoid impact, bending and concentrated stresses during assembly.
• For vacuum or special environments, confirm suitability of leads, bonding and encapsulation.
• Apply loads strictly along the axis to avoid eccentric loads and shear; match end cap geometry to the contact arrangement.
