Overview
The D1xS2F is a high-performance, globally certified alarm horn sounder delivering up to 123dB(A). Its marine-grade, corrosion-proof aluminium enclosure (Type 4/4X, IP66/67) is approved for Class I Div 1, Zone 1, IECEx and ATEX Zone 1, 2, 21 & 22 explosion-proof signalling applications.

Description
The unit offers 64 selectable alarm tones and four remotely selectable stages/channels. A threaded flameproof joint, multiple cable entries and duplicated pluggable terminals simplify installation and maintenance. Versions include 24Vdc (public mode fire alarm approved) and 100-240Vac for general signalling. SIL1 & SIL2 Route 2H compliant to IEC61508 (2010) as standard, with an optional diagnostic module for Route 1H SIL2 compliance.

Tone & Sound Capabilities
The sounder provides 64 selectable tones including PFEER toxic gas, PFEER general alarm, IMO codes, ISO/NFPA temporal patterns, continuous and swept tones. Stage tones can be independently assigned and custom/country-specific configurations are supported.

Installation & Mechanical
Marine-grade LM6 aluminium alloy enclosure with chromate pretreatment and powder coat finish to ISO 12944-6 CX, C5VH & C5H. Standard colours: Red or Grey (special colours on request). Threaded flameproof joint, multiple cable entries with adaptors, stopping plugs in Brass, Nickel Plated or Stainless Steel. Terminals: 0.5–2.5mm² (20–14 AWG), 12AWG solid core; pluggable & duplicated. Ground stud: M5. Enclosure volume <2 litres. Operating/storage temperature: -55 to +85°C. Relative humidity: 99%.
