Description

Description
The STExC1X05R is a UL, cUL, IECEx and ATEX certified combined alarm horn and 5 Joule xenon strobe beacon housed in a 316L stainless steel enclosure approved for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous-area signalling. It pairs an omni-directional horn with a high-energy strobe to deliver audible and visual warnings for industrial, marine and safety-critical installations.

Selectable from 64 alarm tones and four remotely switchable stages/channels, the horn uses Class D amplification for high sound output at efficient operating currents. The flameproof threaded joint, multiple cable entries and duplicated pluggable terminals simplify installation and maintenance. SIL1 and SIL2 Route 2H compliance to IEC61508 (2010) is standard.
