Air diaphragm pumps operate according to the pressure and suction principle, which is used for various purposes in many industrial areas. The drive process is not carried out with the electric motor. In diaphragm pumps, only propulsion occurs with air.
Diaphragm pumps work on a principle similar to a suction pump. Air diaphragm pumps are driven by compressed air, not an electric motor. It works by connecting to the air line of a compressor of appropriate capacity, depending on the flow capacity of the pump and the required pressure value, according to operating conditions.
Air diaphragm pumps are of explosion-proof qualification, since they do not operate by electricity. Due to this reason, it is preferrably used to transfer fuel oil, solvents and many other flammable and combustible fluids. In addition to these qualifications, there are others, such as; deep suction, dry operation (In this case the diaphragm get degenerated), the flow rate and pressure easy adjustability.
Due to such reasons, air pumps can be used in many industries, for wide variety of applications such as transfer, circulation, filling and dosing.
RUBY DIAPHRAGM PUMPS
Ruby Diaphragm Pumps offer enhanced pumping performance thanks to the innovative design of the pumping line. The updated design allows the use of different materials in the hydraulic components without reducing the efficiency in pressure. One of the key advantages of this new design is that it offers high performance at more economical conditions. The advanced composite diaphragm provides a higher performance as it delivers greater displacement per cycle.
