Product overviewThe DISSOLVER 492 I is a precision laboratory high-speed stirrer for dispersing and mixing small volumes (approx. 0.1–3 L) in formulations such as paints, coatings and inks.
Design and safety- Low-noise drive with continuously adjustable speed controlled by PID electronics to maintain constant speed during viscosity changes.
- Stainless-steel stand and column with a tared counterweight sliding inside the column for easy vertical adjustment and immersion control.
- Quick fixing device at the stand base with a safety switch that cuts motor power if vessel clamping is insufficient.
- Adjustable safety switch on the column to limit maximum stirring height; power is interrupted if the motor/stirring unit is lifted above the active range.
- One interchangeable dispersing disc (Ø 40 mm) included.
Operating guidanceThe recommended peripheral (tip) speed of the dispersing disc is 18–22 m/s. Shaft and tip speeds are shown on the digital display. After premixing, increase shaft speed until product clears the vessel wall and a doughnut-flow pattern appears at the disc top.
