Description

The EBC 300 eBus Coupler Serial RS232 enables the direct connection to the eBus network of your heating control system via a serial R232 interface. Description EBC 300 eBus Coupler Serial RS232: the data interface to the eBus via the serial RS232 for PC, Raspberry Pi and co. Application The eBus coupler enables read and write access to the eBus of your heating system. By using the appropriate software, you can analyze data from your heating system and send new values to your heating control system via the eBus. Features The ESERA eBus coupler is equipped with galvanic isolation between the eBus and PC interface (Physical layer OSI 1) . The eBus input is bipolar, so you do not need to pay attention to the polarity of the eBus when connecting. LED display for "Power" and "eBus Power and "Activity” As a data interface to your PC, the eBus coupler is equipped with a serial interface in accordance with the V24 standard. No drivers for Windows, Linux etc. are required. The housing of the eBus coupler is designed for switch cabinet installation. Notes The eBus coupler is not supported by the Vaillant vrDIALOG software. We recommend the use of a high-quality industrial power supply unit for a reliable and long-term power supply without faults.
