New, reinforced version! features: The repeater is used for amplification or regeneration of data signals in 1-Wire networks. By using repeaters, a 1-Wire network can be expanded and a significant increase in network stability can be achieved. Especially recommended for networks with "star structure". (More about the 1-Wire topology can be found here) The repeater is simply connected in a 1-Wire cable. No software required. It supports all types of 1-Wire masters, such as USB adapter, 1-Wire bus coupler or solution with microcontroller with 5V signal level. The repeater is simply connected to the data, ground and 5V supply line of an existing 1-Wire network. The 12V voltage is led past the repeater. No additional power supply or configuration is required for the repeater.
