2-channel 1-wire leading edge phase control dimmer for controlling conventional incandescent lamps, HV and LV halogen lamps (with conventional transformer), dimmable LEDs and inductive loads (e.g. fans)
Description
The brightness of the connected lamps can either be controlled or switched on and off using the touch dimmer function in the living room (extension unit input), via the push-buttons on the top of the module or via the 1-Wire interface. Any push-buttons from all switch ranges can be used for the touch dimmer function. The dimmer response is perceived as very soft and pleasant.
You can change the brightness by pressing and holding the living area or module button. You can switch on or off with a short press of the button.
The touch dimmer function works with a 12VDC/24VDC DC voltage that does not cause any unwanted interference in its surroundings. This makes the Dual Dimmer ideal for low-radiation areas such as bedrooms and living rooms.
In addition to manual control, you also have the option of integrating the leading edge phase control dimmer into your smart home control system. The 1-Wire bus interface is available for this purpose.
This dimmer is suitable for light bulbs, dimmable LEDs, high-voltage halogen lamps (ohmic loads), low-voltage halogen lamps (12VDC) and fans (inductive loads) with corresponding power.
Note: Low-voltage halogen lamps may only be operated in conjunction with a conventionally wound transformer. Not suitable for loads with electronic ballast, energy-saving and fluorescent lamps.
For the living room touch dimmer function, it is sufficient if the dimmer is supplied with the 1-Wire bus voltage (12VDC).
