These XYZ Xpansion Pins have a unique design that enables precise placement and repeatability while delivering high holding pressures to secure items with an inner diameter. The pin's top has been slightly tapered to improve line contact in the mounting bore while giving adequate space during workpiece loading and unloading. Furthermore, the threaded design allows them to be readily inserted into pre-drilled holes. It enables one to manage the extension of the pins, resulting in a secure solution. It is placed through a drilled and reamed hole for precision positioning or set in a reinforced drill bush for further fixture strength and wear resistance; once installed, it expands to create a tight and secure fit. It provides a low-cost solution for tombstones, water jetting operations, grid and fixture plates, and other electronic manufacturing, industrial machinery, and medical device applications.
