The MC6N is a high-performance motion controller that can run 32 remote servo and stepper drives via a real-time bus. 1GHz dual core processing capability supports high axis computing mechanical and robotic applications.
MC6N-ECAT supports maximum 32-axis motion control and 64 bit ultra-high précision position resolution.
EtherCAT slave drives and I/O can be interconnected and run in position, speed and torque modes in a cyclic synchronization.
The programming mode of MC6N is exactly the same as the traditional analog axis, except that the drive setting and process alarm based on EtherCAT bus are added. More axes can be extended through the flexslice EtherCAT I/O module. Since ail programming is handled in the same place, machine control has become easier than ever before.
