SEMI-AUTOMATIC TRAY SEALERS FOR CLOSING PREFORMED TRAYS - FP SM-A SERIES The FP SM-A tray sealers are suitable for packaging food products in preformed trays using plastic sealing film (PP, PET, PS, PE). They are ideal for delicatessens, supermarkets, grocery stores, artisanal workshops, and catering services. All machines are made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum. The working process is time-controlled and electronically thermoregulated; functions are managed via a digital control panel. Standard models operate at 220V; 120V versions are available on request. MODELS AND INDICATIVE PRICES The three models listed on this web page can seal plastic film onto trays of various sizes, depending on the installed mold. The price includes the tray sealer and one fixed standard mold with a single cavity. Upon request, we can provide a quotation for machines equipped with special molds and various accessories. OPERATION The operator places the tray in the mold and pushes the mold into the sealer. The machine then automatically seals the film onto the tray. An acoustic signal indicates the end of the cycle; once the mold is removed, the sealed trays can be extracted. In this machine series, the film remains sealed to the tray but is not trimmed. If a film wider than the tray is used, the operator must manually trim the excess film. For example, the FP SM-105A model can accommodate 4–6 cavities, sealing 4–6 trays simultaneously.
