Product ApplicationThe central tube (center-beam) glass-fiber indoor/outdoor universal optical cable GDX501 uses a loose-tube design with color-coded fibers inside the tubes. The cable core is wrapped with water-blocking yarn, reinforced by glass-fiber rod (FRP), and extruded with an FRNC/LS0H outer sheath. The construction combines indoor flame-retardant requirements with outdoor water-blocking capability to allow continuous indoor-to-outdoor routing where both properties are required. The cable is manufactured to meet relevant structured cabling and optical fiber standards (ISO/IEC 11801, GB 50311) and optical/mechanical standards (ANSI/TIA-568.3-D, IEC 60794, YD/T 1770). Fiber types comply with ITU-T G.652.D and G.657 requirements.
