Description

Product Description
The Hail Impact Test Machine verifies that PV modules can withstand hailstone impacts by launching calibrated ice balls at controlled velocities across the module surface and recording impact parameters.

Testing velocity system and theory
A. Ice ball passes through an infrared velocity sensor; the sensor measures break time T and computes velocity V = S / T based on flight distance S.
B. Infrared sensor accuracy: ±5%
C. Measured speed range: 0–50 m/s

One mould with 6 cavities and two sets covering 25 mm, 35 mm, 45 mm ice balls
One mould with 4 cavities and three sets covering 55 mm, 65 mm, 75 mm ice balls
