Compared with conventional jaw chucks, precision-engineered Hardinge® FlexC Collet Systems let you increase spindle RPM without concern for centrifugal forces, enabling faster setup, quicker changeover, higher accuracy and a wide gripping range for varying stock.

This accuracy is enabled by a built-in .020" clearance between the chuck body cavity and the mounting plate hub, which provides opposing screws sufficient movement to adjust the workpiece precisely. Adjustment takes less than one minute and no further tuning is required to maintain .0005" TIR on duplicate parts.
