The HX180L combines a Perkins 1204E engine (96 kW) with a high-pressure common-rail fuel system and Hyundai’s Electronic Power Optimization System (EPOS). EPOS electronically links the engine control unit and the hydraulic system to provide multiple operating modes, electronic fuel management, auto-idle, hydraulic oil flow regulation and on-board diagnostics for consistent, controllable performance.
