Description

Description The correct thermocouple sensor for the target temperature range and application is a critical element of your validation system. Kaye offers a range of Type T insulated thermocouple wires including an Ultra-Premium Autobond construction that eliminates the outer Teflon jacket and molds the inner conductors to prevent moisture and steam leakage. Options include Ultra-Premium Autobond, Ultra-Premium with Kapton jacket and a cost-effective Premium grade.

  • Autobond construction removes outer Teflon jacket to prevent moisture/steam ingress.
  • Ultra-Premium grade produced for maximum purity and uniformity.
  • Premium grade available for less critical applications at a lower cost.
  • Quality control: every spool tested and shipped with a Certificate of Conformance to traceable specifications.
  • Insulated Type T wires offered in 3-strand or 7-strand constructions; supplied uncut on spools or cut to length with Teflon tips.
  • Standard measurement accuracy: ±0.25°C (typical); Ultra-Premium accuracy: ±0.1°C.
  • Ultra-Premium Kapton option for applications up to 350°C.
