OverviewThe HOMOGENI HP55S is an ultra-high pressure homogenizer using a reciprocating plunger and a precision valve group. Product is forced through a narrow gap at very high velocity (approx. 1000–1500 m/s), generating cavitation, impact and shear effects to reduce particle size below 100 nm and achieve cell disruption rates >95%. Units are manufactured to 2006/42/CE and supplied with a tool kit and standard preparation kit.
