Detailed descriptionThe TBM Series high-throughput tissue grinder is a fast, efficient and safe homogenization system for laboratory sample preparation. It supports extraction and purification workflows for DNA, RNA and proteins from diverse matrices including plant and animal tissues, organs, microbes (bacteria, yeast, fungi), spores and environmental samples. The system reduces manual labor and improves repeatability by replacing manual grinding with automated multi-sample processing.

Working principleThe TBM Series uses high-frequency vertical oscillation and selectable grinding beads to pulverize samples directly in centrifuge tubes. Sample–bead collisions generate shear and impact forces that disrupt tissue and cells, enabling efficient release and recovery of DNA, RNA and proteins.
