Description

This cartridge-style valve (also known as a bleeder valve) provides an innovative solution to removing trapped air within a pressurized system to increase system efficiencies while minimizing hydraulic losses. The valve’s unique design provides simple press-in installation into plastic housings and fittings, helping to ensure retention and prevent any bypass leakage. Normally closed, the valve can be customized to allow air admittance if required for thermal management. - Mounting Configuration: Press-In - Into Plastic - Diameter: 4.69 mm - Lohm Rate: 1100 Lohms max. - Maximum Working Pressure: Dependent on Housing Material General Performance - Lohm Rate: 1100 Lohms - Cracking / Opening Pressure: Uprun pressure at which the valve will flow more than 50 SCCM of air - Shut-Off Pressure: Uprun pressure at which the valve will flow less than 20 SCCM of air - Leakage: Vent valves are normally closed. Specials available as normally open versions for air admittance. - Maximum Working Pressure: Dependent on Housing Material, Configuration, and Operating Conditions Materials - Body: 303 Stainless Steel - Cage: 303 Stainless Steel - Spring: 302 Stainless Steel - Ball: 440C Stainless Steel Part Numbers & Specifications - Part Number: CCVP4500120S - Cracking / Opening Pressure: 10 ± 5 kPa (1.5 ± 0.7 psid) - Flow Point - Minimum Flow (Ref.): 5 SLPM - Flow Point - Pressure: 60 ± 10 kPa (8.7 ± 1.5 psid) - Shut-Off Pressure: 120 ± 30 kPa (17.4 ± 4.4 psid) - Approximate Weight: 0.57 grams - Installation Hole Drawing Number: 1INST055825S - Part Number: CCVP4500290S - Cracking / Opening Pressure: 50 ± 30 kPa (7.3 ± 4.4 psid) - Flow Point - Minimum Flow (Ref.): 10 SLPM - Flow Point - Pressure: 200 ± 10 kPa (29.0 ± 1.5 psid) - Shut-Off Pressure: 290 ± 60 kPa (42.1 ± 8.7 psid) - Approximate Weight: 0.57 grams - Installation Hole Drawing Number: 1INST055825S - Part Number: CCVP4500540S - Cracking / Opening Pressure: 100 ± 30 kPa (14.5 ± 4.4 psid) - Flow Point - Minimum Flow (Ref.): 17 SLPM - Flow Point - Pressure: 400 ± 10 kPa (58.0 ± 1.5 psid) - Shut-Off Pressure: 540 ± 120 kPa (78.3 ± 17.4 psid) - Approximate Weight: 0.57 grams - Installation Hole Drawing Number: 1INST055825S Replacement Parts & Accessories - Part Number: CCRT0055034S - Description: Forward 4.5 mm Press-In Installation Tool - Part Number: CCRT0055036S - Description: Reverse 4.5 mm Press-In Installation Tool - Flow Curves: Available for 120 kPa, 290 kPa, and 540 kPa Shut Off Pressure Versions - Cross Section View: Press-In Version - Dimensional View: All dimensions are in millimeters - Installation Hole Details: Installation Drawing Number: 1INST055825S Technical Specifications - Valve Type: Cartridge-style (bleeder valve) - Mounting: Press-in, for plastic housings/fittings - Diameter: 4.69 mm - Lohm Rate: 1100 Lohms max - Working Pressure: Dependent on housing material/configuration/operating conditions - Materials: 303 Stainless Steel (body, cage), 302 Stainless Steel (spring), 440C Stainless Steel (ball) - Weight: 0.57 grams - Part Numbers: CCVP4500120S, CCVP4500290S, CCVP4500540S - Accessories: CCRT0055034S (Forward Installation Tool), CCRT0055036S (Reverse Installation Tool)
