Overview
The PS65 vertical machining center delivers a balance of power, accuracy, speed and reliability for job-shop and production environments in aerospace, medical, automotive and general machining. Core-cooled components and a high-capability spindle support high metal removal rates and consistent surface quality.

Design & Technologies
Rigid structural design from base casting to spindle minimizes deflection. Core-cooled ball screws circulate thermally controlled lubrication through the ball screw and support bearing to stabilize motion temperatures, reduce thermal growth and extend component life. The standard 14,000 rpm CAT40 spindle (HSK-A63 optional) features large-diameter 85 mm bearings and a stiff, balanced construction to provide torque and stability for modern cutting tools. Tool handling allows exterior loading or direct spindle loading and a dual-speed tool change detects lighter tools to shorten exchange cycles. Chip and coolant management—steep internal slopes, coolant flush on tele-covers, spiral conveyors, nozzle and flush coolant and cyclonic filtration for TSC—efficiently clear chips from the cutting zone.

Control
The Makino Pro P control integrates a 10.4 inch color touch LCD with high-speed processing and Fanuc hardware integration for stable, fast command execution and intuitive operation. The control supports program storage and advanced functions for production monitoring and maintenance.
