Description
The V-Anvil Micrometer from MITUTOYO is used for measuring the outside diameter of cutting tools with 3-5 flutes. It deals with the pitch diameter which is stated in page B-72 of the Quick Guide to Precision Measuring Instruments. It has carbide measurement facades and comes with a ratchet stop to ensure consistent measuring force.
Measures the diameter of cylinders that have odd-numbered flutes.
Convenient for measuring taps‚ reamers‚ etc.‚ with odd-numbered flutes.
