Introduction
The SAPHIR 550 with RUBIN 520 is a next-generation single-wheel grinding and polishing machine designed for working wheels Ø 200 - 300 mm. The RUBIN 520 head features an automatic protective hood and advanced control functions including selectable single or central pressure, programmable memory, integrated dosing and automatic material-removed measurement. Motor-driven height adjustment with pneumatic clamping and the features of the SAPHIR 350 base unit deliver precise, repeatable preparation. Removal height can be preset with 0.01 mm accuracy and the machine stops automatically when the preset material removal is reached.
