Description

The positive (ratcheting) SIKUMAT® SG torque limiters are precision safety devices for machines and installations. They protect drives from overloads by a ball-based ratcheting action, combining precise triggering with automatic re-engagement and an integrated fixed bearing for stable mounting.

Function
  • When the preset limit torque is reached the SIKUMAT® ratchets to prevent further torque transmission

  • An overload can be signalled via a proximity switch to stop the drive or trigger other control functions
