Description

SIKUMAT® SB positive torque limiters are frictionless, synchronous disengaging overload clutches with a double-roller design, used to protect machines and installations.


Advantages

Function
  • When the preset limit torque is reached, the SIKUMAT® separates input and output via a locking mechanism with integrated bearings
  • After removal of the overload, the device can be manually re-engaged synchronously to the start position after 360° rotation
  • Re-engagement requires application of an axial switching force to the switching ring
