Overview
The KA series close-coupled single-impeller centrifugal pumps are designed to handle clear liquids without abrasives or suspended solids, non-explosive and non-aggressive for the pump materials. They are suitable for domestic and industrial circulation and transfer applications.

Applications

• Domestic water distribution and recirculation
• Integration into industrial machines
• Water circulation in industrial plants
• Filling and transfer to storage tanks

Performance

• Liquid temperature: up to 35 °C for domestic use (CEI EN 60335-2-41) or up to 90 °C for other uses; ambient temperature up to 40 °C
• Flow rate: up to approx. 30 m3/h
• Head: up to approx. 22 m

• Pump body: cast iron G20 with anti-corrosive coating
• Motor bracket: cast iron G20 with anti-corrosive coating
• Impeller: cast iron G20 with anti-corrosive coating (technopolymer for KA 80-100)
• Pump shaft: stainless steel Aisi 304 (Aisi 420 F for KA 80-100)
• Mechanical seal: carbon-ceramic

Motor
The control motors are asynchronous, squirrel-cage type, enclosed, with external ventilation.

• Single-phase models: built-in motor protection and permanent capacitor
• Three-phase models: external motor protection to be installed by the customer; use equipment compliant with applicable standards
• Insulation class: F — Duty: S1 — Degree of protection: IP44 (motor)
• Terminal board protection: IP54
