Compact medium-wave (MWI) infrared heater designed for applications requiring high radiation intensity, fast response and easy adjustment. Intended for integration into ovens and tunnels or as a booster module for existing installations. Not suitable for humid environments.

Applications

• Integration in industrial ovens and drying tunnels
• Localised process heating and curing
• Retrofit booster for existing infrared lines
• Custom installations requiring short-length heaters

Key features

• Short-length option: lengths < 1 m
• Very low thermal inertia: < 5 seconds (corrugated ribbon elements)
• High radiation efficiency: > 90%
• Medium surface power density: approx. 40 kW / m²
• Delivered without front grill (grill available as optional accessory)
• Not suitable for humid environments

• Wavelength: medium-wave infrared, ~2.6 µm
• Heating assembly: single heating drawer with low-inertia corrugated ribbons (≈ 5 s)
• Frame: stainless steel sheet, 50 mm thickness, with dowel fixing points
• Electrical connection: rear ceramic terminal block (customer must ensure electrical protection per local standards)
• Front grill: optional
• Environmental limitation: not suitable for humid environments
