Overview The Manual Drum Rotator (model STM01-DRU01) provides a safe, ergonomic and low-duty solution for lifting, rotating and decanting industrial drums. It uses manual hydraulic pumps for lifting and a self-locking rotational gearbox for controlled rotation. Suitable for steel, plastic and fibreboard drums within the specified diameter and volume ranges.

• Manual hydraulic lift: two manual-hydraulic pumps mounted to the rear handle for low-effort lifting; controllable lowering lever for safe lowering.
• Universal drum band: modular assembly adjustable to provide full contact and secure grip; adjustable from 350 mm to 600 mm diameter.
• Adjustable rim clamp: rim-clamp device attaches to the drum top edge to prevent slippage, especially on smooth plastic drums; rapid adjustment via securing pin.
• Self-locking gearbox: robust rotational gearbox with self-locking function to prevent unwanted rotation when the handle is released; gearbox ratio 120:1 to ease rotation of heavy drums.
• Drum compatibility: designed to handle steel, plastic and fibreboard drums; typical capacity 50–220 litres when used with the universal band.
• ATEX / Ex upgrade available: units can be supplied ATEX / UKEX certified for use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 with anti-static wheels, guarding, earthing chains and supporting documentation.

Usage guidance

• Intended for low-duty, intermittent decanting using the manual pump. For handling more than approximately 5–10 drums per day, consider powered models (electric or pneumatic) to reduce operator effort and increase throughput.
• Rotation handle folds away when not in use to avoid catching on obstructions; ensure correct band clamping and rim clamp engagement before lifting or rotating.

• Stainless-steel construction (304-grade) for cleanrooms / GMP environments; nickel/chrome-plated rams and encased pumps with rubber gaiter protection.
