Overview
Fully powered electric or pneumatic stainless-steel drum tipper engineered for hygienic food and pharmaceutical environments. Available as an electric-hydraulic model (on-board batteries with integrated mains smart charger) or as a pneumatic-hydraulic ATEX/UKEX-certifiable variant. Constructed in 304-grade stainless steel with aqua-blasted and vibro-polished hygienic finish for long service life (design life >20 years).

• Two power options: Electric — two built-in 142 Ah batteries driving an electric-hydraulic pump and electric drive motor; Pneumatic — pneumatic-hydraulic double-acting pump for ATEX/UKEX hazardous-area use.
• Fully powered functions: lift, clamp, rotation and drive for safe, hands-off handling.
• Simple steerable tiller drive with throttle control and anti-trap safety switch; precise drive control available via control hoses in the steering tiller.
• Hydraulic constant-tension clamping head with pressure gauge providing secure clamping and ‘hands-off’ operation.
• Interchangeable clamping pads to match drum contours; optional fixed-radius rubber-lined pads for standard 200–220 L drums.
• Compatible with a wide range of drums: UN-approved steel drums, common plastic and fibre drums and MAUSER drums. Standard handling range 50–220 L; pad-adaptable diameters 280–610 mm; suitable for drums up to ~1000 mm height.
• Hygienic construction and finishes: 304-grade stainless steel, polycarbonate shatterproof guarding (anti-static on ATEX models), conductive/anti-static components and earthing chains where required.
• Low-maintenance design intended to increase throughput and reduce manual handling risks (quoted >50 drums/hour; compatibility >95%).

Capabilities & operation

• Electric model: two integrated 142 Ah batteries power the electric-hydraulic pump and drive motor; integrated 230 V mains smart charger inside the control box.
• Pneumatic (ATEX) model: pneumatic-hydraulic double-acting pump. Air requirements: minimum 400 L/min, optimum 760 L/min at 6 bar using a 13 mm flexible air hose. Includes electrically conductive tyres and anti-static measures for hazardous zones.
• Controls: silicone-booted push buttons, emergency stop, removable key switch and digital battery condition meter; optional wired pendant controller with emergency stop for remote lift/rotation control.
• Drive: steerable tiller with throttle controls; 700 W heavy-duty rear drive wheel with polyurethane tyre; two fixed 160 mm front wheels (aluminium-centred, polyurethane tyres, precision bearings).
• Options & upgrades: pendant controller, integrated load-cell weighing system (accuracy ±0.1 kg), telescopic lift for extended stroke (options to 2800+ mm), alternative leg/straddle dimensions, ATEX-certified pneumatic variant and bespoke pad/head adaptations.

Applications
Designed for safe decanting, dosing and transfer tasks in manufacturing, food and pharmaceutical production where stainless construction and hygienic finishes are required. Suitable for lifting and tipping drums from pallets, loading into tanks or dosing stations, and for use in zones requiring ATEX certification when equipped with the pneumatic variant.
