Tumbling machine DME01

Overview
The electric drum tumbler DME01 provides consistent homogeneous mixing for 200–220 L steel, plastic and fibreboard drums. It replaces manual mixing processes and is designed for industrial production areas with a rated capacity of 300 kg.

Loading and securing
Drums can be loaded and unloaded using suitable drum lifters or a forklift attachment with a minimum lift height of 330 mm. Typical loading/unloading time is under 60 seconds. Drums are secured by a screw-top clamping bar adjustable for heights from 860 mm to 1010 mm, compatible with 200–220 L drums.

Controls and performance

• Two standard rotation models: 10 RPM and 24 RPM
• Variable speed ranges: 10 RPM model mixes between 2–10 RPM; 24 RPM model mixes between 4–24 RPM
• Mix timer with automatic stop and Home function to return drum to vertical for safe unloading
• Continuous 360° rotation duty cycle
• Power supply options: mains 230 V or 120 V single-phase

Safety and compliance
The unit is supplied with full guarding in accordance with the Machinery Directive. Safety gate interlocks prevent operation until gates are closed and stop mixing immediately if opened. A safety relay circuit defaults the system to a safe state. CE and UKCA compliance; ATEX option available.

Drum compatibility
Designed for drums 860–1010 mm in height and up to 600 mm diameter. Standard securing handles 200–220 L steel, plastic and fibreboard drums. Optional small-drum adapter adapts the unit for smaller containers.
