Overview
The ATEX / UKEX telescopic pedestrian stacker STP08-FAC01-HDLC-Ex is designed for zoned hazardous areas where lift height must be maximised. Suitable for handling pallets and IBCs, it provides telescopic lift up to 2740 mm (+/- 30 mm to fork tip) and can be supplied with an integrated ATEX-rated load-cell weighing system (accuracy +/- 1.25 kg). The unit is certified for use in gas and dust zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

Key product features

• Compliant pneumatic-hydraulic lift - Air-powered pneumatic-hydraulic pump (plug-in airline) supplies oil to the lift system for powered lift and lower functions. Mandatory safety devices including emergency stop and blocking valves are fitted so forks remain locked if the airline is disconnected. The pneumatic 'Ex' lift is simpler and lower maintenance than an equivalent electric ATEX/UKEX forklift.
• ATEX certification for gas and dust zones - Manufactured and supplied to meet ATEX / UKEX requirements with Manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity and electrical continuity/grounding provisions for safe handling of flammable materials.
• ATEX load-cell weigh scale - Heavy-duty zoned load-cell carriage measures pallet or IBC weight when lifted. The ATEX display is mounted on the head assembly and provides zero and tare functions. Weighing accuracy: +/- 1.25 kg.
• Stainless-steel clad forks - 1200 mm forks clad in stainless steel to reduce spark risk on ground contact; fabricated to UK standards with adjustable width.
• Hot-rolled lifting channels - Heavy-duty hot-rolled channels ensure stability up to 2765 mm; units are load-tested (static/dynamic) and CE / UKCA marked.
• Controllable rear-wheel steering - Ackermann rear-wheel steering for directional control, low-rolling-resistance wheels and parking brake. Custom leg configurations and CAD approval drawings available for constrained spaces.

Optional features

• Electric-hydraulic lift - For safe-area use the pneumatic STP08 can be adapted to an electric STE08 with on-board batteries powering the hydraulic lift.
• Power-drive system - Optional powered drive for long-distance movement; power-drive tiller steering available in battery or pneumatic options.
• Variable leg dimensions - Leg dimensions can be modified for facility integration and machinery interfaces; bespoke CAD drawings provided.
