Overview
The RFV series shaft-mounted gearboxes provide a wide range of reduction ratios and are available in 10 sizes. The rounded design of the housings ensures rigidity and allows installation in all assembly positions.
Materials & Construction
Housings and flanges are made of unpainted aluminium for sizes 252-253 and 302-303; other sizes use painted, high-resistance cast-iron housings and flanges. All gears are manufactured from alloyed, hardened and tempered steel with subsequent grinding on the tooth flanks to improve efficiency and reduce noise under load.

Configuration & Tools
Configuration images for input types are provided. A 3D Configuration Manager (online configurator to generate 3D CAD models) is available. A downloadable catalogue "Shaft-mounted gearboxes RFV-FV - Version 05/2025" (PDF) is provided.
