OverviewMeet Generation 4: the IRO Luna X4 weft feeder with an integrated TED (Tension Enabled Display) for direct tension setting and visualisation. TED displays the required yarn tension and provides alarm functions (e.g. weft yarn break). All settings are accessed via the front yellow knob. TED is compatible with ATC (Active Tension Control) to maintain consistent tension across the weaving cycle.
Components & Features- Pneumatic treading — "Easy access" push-button system for fast one-step treading (through the entire feeder) or half-treading (from the input eyelet to the spool body).
- Sensor system — Mechanical or optical sensor systems (including an integrated yarn break sensor) for precise yarn reserve control.
- Separation setting — Stepless yarn separation adjustment without tools.
- Permanent magnet motor — Maintenance-free motor for low energy consumption, low operating temperature and high torque at all speeds.
- S/Z Switch — Sets rotation direction or activates standby mode.
- Spool body — Surface-treated spool body designed to handle a wide range of yarns, minimizing yarn take-off tension and dust collection.
- Easy balloon adjustment — Adjustable knob for precise brush-ring (balloon) adjustment, operable while feeder is running.
Additional informationThe integrated TED display includes alarm functionality (e.g. yarn break). Settings are performed via the front yellow knob. Compatibility with ATC maintains tension throughout the weaving cycle. Generation 4 also improves accessibility for powered accessories and features updated sensors and an improved threading-up system.
