Overview
Meet our Generation 4, the new XD X4. Adapted to the well-proven design of the X4 generation, the XD X4 has been created to meet requirements for the countless variations in yarn fibers that continue to arise. With decades of experience in yarn feeding, resulted in continuation of the XD series of weft feeders, this to prepare for upcoming challenges that lays ahead of our customers.

Accessories
  • TED Tension Display — The TED function is an integrated display where you can set desired tension value for the fabric production. Easily viewed on the display, and includes alarms for example weft yarn break.
  • ATC-W Active Tension Control — Optional. The integrated display is also compatible with our ATC which will maintain tension through the full weaving cycle. Well-proven design combined with modular build-up of the weft feeder.
  • RTC Rapid Tension Control — Optional. A fast reacting, programmable weft tensioner system. It allows adjusting "within-the-pick" to different tension levels, achieving the optimal tension required for the complete weft insertion cycle.

The components
  • S/Z Switch — Used to set the directions of rotation, or to activate the standby mode.
  • Pneumatic treading — "Easy access" push-button system for fast "one-step treading" (through the entire feeder), or "half-treading" (from the input eyelet to the spool body).
  • Permanent magnet motor — A powerful maintenance-free permanent magnet motor ensures low energy consumption, low operating temperature and high torque at all speeds.
  • Sensor system — Mechanical or optical sensor systems (including an integrated yarn break sensor), ensures precise yarn reserve control.
  • Separation setting — Stepless yarn separation adjustment without the need for any tools.
  • Spool body — The specially designed high quality surface treated spool body gently handles a wide range of yarns and offers the lowest yarn take-off tension and minimized dust collection.
  • Easy balloon adjustment — Adjustable knob for easy and precise brushring adjustment even when the feeder is running.
