OverviewThe IRO Star G2 integrates recent feeder developments into a compact weft feeder. Designed for medium-range speeds of modern weaving machines and as a direct replacement on older looms, Star G2 units use maintenance-free permanent magnet motors for low energy consumption and reliable torque. Note: Star G2 can only be fitted with a brush ring for balloon control.
Components- S/Z Switch — Sets winding direction (S and Z) or activates standby mode.
- Mechanical sensor system — Improved sensor provides precise tension control and includes an integrated yarn-break sensor.
- Easy balloon adjustment — Adjustable knob for accurate brush-ring tuning even during operation.
- Separation setting — Stepless yarn separation adjustment without tools.
- Spool body — Surface-treated spool body handles a wide yarn range to ensure optimal take-off tension and reduced dust generation.
- Permanent magnet motor — Maintenance-free motor delivering high torque across speeds with low operating temperature and energy use.
- Soft spool body seal — Prevents dust and lint ingress to the ball bearings.
