Our External Circlips also known as E-Type Circlips or External Retaining Clips are used to retain components onto a groove on a shaft. Ideal for preventing movement of gears, pulleys or bearing from any axial movement. Easily installed by simply compressing the circlip around the groove in the shaft they will flex slightly and then snap into place, reforming to their original shape. Our Circlips are available in A1 (Equivalent to 303) and A4 (Equivalent to 316 Marine Grade) Stainless Steel in sizes 3mm to 150mm.
