Our Slotted Knurled Thumb Screws, or Slotted Knurled Hand Screw as they are also known, are manufactured to DIN 465 from high performance stainless steel, which provides an excellent level of resistance and strength across medium to heavy loads. The large head accompanied with the knurled circumference allows for this fastener to be tightened and untightened by hand, without the use of tools. This variant comes with a slot to allow for tooled fastening to achieve a higher torqued screw. The DIN 465 Thumb Screws have a shoulded below the head for contact with springs or panels and this also raises the head away from the surface to ease of use. Most commonly used in conjunction with Washers and Nuts, these products pare used to hold fasteners in place, joining two or more parts together.
