The Vogelsang VX series is a family of rotary lobe pumps designed for industrial transfer of media ranging from thin liquids to highly viscous, abrasive, aggressive or shear-sensitive products. The range combines a compact footprint, service-friendly QuickService access and options for numerous materials and drive configurations to meet diverse process requirements.

Models (series overview)
VX100
Compact unit available in four sizes. Suited for small to medium capacities up to 50 m3/h and pressures to 10 bar. Options include lightweight aluminium components, directly flanged electric motor and PTB A1 design.

VX136
Universal compact design with six sizes and multiple construction variants. Capacities up to 364 m3/h and pressures to 12 bar. Options include InjectionSystem, radial/axial wear plates and special materials (ADI, stainless steel, nickel alloys).

VX186
Sturdy design in eight sizes and many configurations. Capacities up to 1,025 m3/h and pressures to 12 bar. Built for large volumes and abrasive, viscous or aggressive media; features wear-plate concepts and multiple drive options.

VX215
High-capacity range with four sizes and six designs, enabling flows up to 1,417 m3/h (24,000 l/min) and pressures to 8 bar. Large free passage (eg. 90 mm) offers strong foreign-matter tolerance; QuickService and InjectionSystem options support fast maintenance.

VX230
High-performance series with four sizes and six construction types. Outputs up to 1,234 m3/h and pressures to 12 bar. Designed for rapid service and minimal downtime.

Features of the VX series

• Adjustable pump housing segments to compensate wear without additional parts.
• Axial and radial wear plates in high wear-resistant steels to extend service intervals.
• Wide lobe portfolio: multiple geometries and materials (NBR, EPDM variants, CSM, FKM, PU, stainless steel, nitrided steel) including HiFlo lobes for pulsation-free pumping.
• Material options: abrasion-resistant gray cast iron, ADI, stainless steel and nickel-based alloys; heat treatments and wear coatings available.
• Quality Cartridge mechanical seal: preassembled cartridge for quick, reliable replacement.
• Robust, large-diameter shafts to minimize deflection and start-up wear.
