Design and function
The ProCap T follows Vogelsang's modular progressive cavity concept: different sizes are achieved by exchanging stator and rotor elements. The pump features a fully welded housing, an oil-lubricated mechanical seal or high-quality cartridge seal with block ring, and a hollow rotor. The hollow rotor combined with a double bearing in the drive adapter ensures particularly smooth running and reduced weight. An optional reduction gear with minimal angular misalignment is available to avoid the need for a costly wide-angle joint.
