Overview SEN-9648PM-24V is an 8-port 10/100/1000 PoE+ downlink and 2-port GbE SFP uplink managed industrial grade switch designed to meet the thermal requirements and environmental conditions of Marine applications. This PoE+ switch features up to 8-port PSE (power sourcing equipment) ports with plug and play features to provide power to all the powered devices (PDs) as soon as they are connected. The fiber ports allow noise-free Gigabit Ethernet transmission for fast recovery, reliable and long-distance to other switches and the control center. The RJ45 type console port allows outbound network troubleshooting when networks go wrong. The USB port, designed to save configuration files, save system log files, and upgrade firmware, reduces network downtime and operational costs. The switch offers various in-built traffic optimization and network performance features to prioritize industrial applications, prevent the loss of data during communication, and stabilize transmission. The switch includes a topology map compatible with third-party devices to monitor the network. This device complies with cybersecurity standards to safeguard the network from vulnerabilities and protect your assets. This switch is built with industrial grade components, enclosed in an IP30 aluminum case with high thermal conductivity to protect the device from tools and hazards. The wide input power range from 24V to 57V enables the device to operate in many marine applications without extra power outlet installation needed. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -40°C~75°C (-40°F~167°F) it suits demanding environments. Features High-Power Budget for PoE Devices: Compliant with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), the switch supplies 30W per each PoE port, for a 240W total power budget and allows simple “plug and play” PoE for various types of high power-consuming PoE devices. PoE+ not only eliminates the need for installing additional power outlets or adapters but also offers advanced and smart PoE+ features that allow users to save time by configuration automated control to all PDs. Port-based and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN: GARP (Generic Attribute Registration Protocol) and GVRP (Generic VLAN Registration Protocol) for segmentation of large networks into smaller parts and separate broadcast domains.
