Vacuum cup questionnaireForm to support correct dimensioning of a vacuum pad handler. It collects load characteristics and handling constraints and recommends sending a drawing or sample to ensure correct cup selection.
Vacuum cups with supports (small diameters)- Traditional cup-shaped vacuum cups for small objects with flat, slightly concave or convex surfaces.
- Diameters from 4 to 9 mm in standard compounds: natural para rubber (N), oil-resistant rubber (A) and silicone (S).
- Cold fitted (no adhesive) onto nickel-plated brass supports with male threaded pin for easy replacement.
Vacuum cups with supports (10–45 mm)- Cup-shaped vacuum cups mounted on nickel-plated brass or anodised aluminium supports; diameters 10–45 mm in standard compounds N, A, S.
- Supports with male threaded pin; easy replacement; special compounds available on request (minimum quantities).
Star Vacuum cups (SV series)- SV series designed for flat and flexible objects (cardboard pads, thin metal sheets) with internal star-shaped reinforcement sectors for stability and adaptability.
- Combines flexible lip for surface contact and reinforced bearing surface for rigidity; fits male or female threaded anodised aluminium supports.
Maxigrip cups- Designed for robotic and automotive applications as an alternative to ordinary cups; available round/oval, flat and bellows-type, with vulcanised support.
- Flexible outer lip and internal geometry to facilitate oil and water drainage; high friction for oil-covered metal sheets or wet glass/marble.
- BENZ compound: hardness 60–75°Sh, working temperature -40 to +170°C; stain-resistant and abrasion/oil/water resistant.
Maxigrip elliptical and accessories- Flat and bellows elliptical vacuum cups for gripping boxes and narrow profiles (VEP, VES series).
- Adapters and accessories (galvanised steel, anodised aluminium) to modify threads and enable robotic installations; internal hex housing for easy screwing.
Suction cups for packaging (plastic films, flow packs)- Series dedicated to thin, lightweight and delicate objects (plastic or paper bags); very thin lip and internal cleats to distribute vacuum and avoid deformation.
- Para compound recommended for best adhesion on plastic/paper products.
Round flat and cleated cups (panels, glass, marble, tiles)- Designed to avoid swiping during gripping; internal cleats reduce air volume and create supporting surface to prevent deformation and slipping.
- Cold fitted onto anodised aluminium supports and locked by ring nut; some models include M8 threaded hole for grub screw to reduce suction volume.
VMG134 suction cup for structured tiles- High-density foam rubber solution for textured tiles; retains elasticity after cycles. Available compounds: EPDM (SB) -40°C to +130°C, Geranium foam (OF) -40°C to +80°C, Neoprene (NF) -20°C to +80°C.
- Self-adhesive side for attaching foam to support; support in anodised Anticorodal with multiple attachment holes and vacuum ports sealed with NBR O-rings.
Vacuum cups with vulcanised support (BENZ compound)- For moulded/drawn sheet metal and automotive sector; ground lip for immediate gripping and perfect seal; BENZ compound resists chlorine in oils.
- Galvanised steel support vulcanised onto the cup; special compounds available on request.
Foam rubber cups and sheets (GERANIUM / OF and NF neoprene)- GERANIUM (OF) foam: grips uneven and rough surfaces, retains elasticity after cycles; working temp -40°C to +80°C; self-adhesive side for support.
- NF neoprene foam: closed-cell structure, greater compressive strength; recommended for lubricated surfaces; working temp -20°C to +100°C; not for food use.
Vacupredator vacuum cups- Designed for gripping bags, packs and flexible containers; anodised aluminium body with slotted plate and foam rubber seal to prevent perimeter vacuum loss on creased containers.
- Lifting force calculated for at least -75 kPa vacuum with safety factor 3.
Bellows, reinforced bellows, double-bellows and egg-handling cups- Bellows cups provide flexibility and compensate flatness errors — suited for baked goods, packaging, eggs and delicate objects; available in food-use compounds and cold fitted supports.
- Reinforced and double-bellows versions for rapid separation, heavy packaging and high-acceleration robotic movements.
- Egg-handling cups: thin lip and bellows shape for delicate grip; available in Silicone or Para compounds to avoid marking.
Flat round and heavy-duty vulcanised cups- For lifting heavy loads vertically and horizontally; labyrinth-graved face in same compound to grip thin fragile sheets without bending.
- Versions with internal vertical lip to grip very rough surfaces; supports with central threaded hole and side vacuum connections; some include pins/springs for cushioning.
Circular rim, rectangular and elliptical cups- Circular rim cups for objects with central hole (CDs, discs) with very thin lip for rough surfaces.
- Rectangular flat and anti-slip support cups for clamping wooden panels, marble, granite and ceramics; supports may include non-slip coating, stainless steel mesh filter and O-ring seals.
- Elliptical cups for long narrow gripping surfaces (cardboard cases, profiles); non-rotating holders available on request.
Special vacuum cups and supports- Special shapes for specific gripping problems: cups for labels, chocolates, tiles, small metal/plastic parts, etc.
- Wide range of supports and accessories: nickel-plated brass, anodised aluminium, galvanised steel; many thread/adaptor options, anti-rotation pins and fastening solutions.
Bernoulli vacuum cups- Non-contact vacuum gripping based on Bernoulli principle for fragile items requiring contactless handling (semiconductor wafers, solar cells, thin foils, films).
- Constructed in anodised aluminium with stainless steel thrust disc; antistatic silicone spacers on gripping plane; axial and radial compressed-air supply options; threaded holes for automation mounting.
Documentation and CADPDF datasheets and CAD files (TraceParts) are available for each product family and technical pages indicate the corresponding files and drawings.
