emergency release coupling
Emergency-release couplings (sometimes also referred to as break-away couplings) disconnect fully automatically and non-destructively once a defined separation force has been exceeded. The valves close automatically immediately upon separation and prevent the medium from leaking out of the separated line segments.
Separation without a traction cable:
Unanticipated tractive forces that occur are routed through a hose onto the locking/unlocking sleeve designed for this purpose.
Separation via a separate traction cable: Unanticipated tractive forces that occur are routed to the locking/unlocking sleeve via a traction cable that runs parallel to the hose.
Significant reduction in risks to people and the environment, non-destructive (operational again immediately after use), tailored to the relevant customer situation in terms of nominal bore, valve technology and version
