Product descriptionWherever the media flow within a piping system must be manually closed or opened in either direction, WEH® needle valves reliably provide this function. The valves run smoothly and are highly durable because the valve needle is decoupled from the rotating valve spindle. The needle with regulating tip and the spindle are shaped so that flow increases gradually and can be precisely regulated when opening (6–7 turns to fully open). Versions with a V‑tip are available as pure shut‑off valves (2–3 turns to fully open).
MountingWEH® needle valves can be mounted frontally in panels (bore diameter 6.35 mm) or laterally on rails or holders (bore diameter depends on size; see tables).
Features- Supplied with preassembled pressure rings and pressure screws
- Needle valves for shut‑off and flow regulation in medium‑/high‑pressure systems
- Metal seating for high leak‑tightness and long service life
- Variants with replaceable packing at the valve seat available
- Standard with regulating tip; V‑tip variants available for shut‑off function
ApplicationsSuitable for liquid and gaseous media of Fluid Group 2 (DGR). Special versions for hydrogen applications are available.
