Product overview
The Weishaupt Thermo Condens® WTC-GW / WTC-GB is a gas-fired condensing boiler available in three nominal outputs (approx. 15, 25, 32 kW). It is suited for applications from single apartments to small and medium-sized residential buildings. User control is possible via the unit control panel, optional room controller, or remotely by app/web. Remote service and maintenance by qualified technicians are possible via the optional WEM portal.

Energy saving
The unit features a high-performance aluminium–silicon sand-cast heat exchanger with excellent thermal conductivity (higher than stainless steel), enabling very high utilization rates (example values Hi: over 109% to 110%). A glass-like coating on the heat exchanger protects against corrosion and fouling.

Optimized combustion
Standard SCOT combustion control provides self-calibrating adaptation to varying gas qualities. It responds to gas admixtures (e.g. biomethane) and environmental or temperature influences. Up to 20% hydrogen admixture is supported; the system automatically determines the optimal gas/air mixture.

Reduced electrical consumption
An integrated energy-saving pump and a heat exchanger designed for reduced hydraulic resistance (approx. 20% lower) help to lower electrical power consumption.

Supported fuels
The system is designed for common market gases and automatically detects composition to set the optimal gas/air ratio (e.g. Natural gas E/H, Natural gas LL, Liquefied petroleum gas B/P).

Installation & system technology
As an all-in-one solution the condensing unit can be combined with an integrated water heater into a compact combi/compact version. Extensive accessories are available (flue systems, potable water heaters, hydraulic components, controls, solar collectors for potable water heating or heating support) and coordinated system components.

WEM portal / Remote access
The optional WEM portal enables remote access via web browser or smartphone app when the heating system is connected to the internet: data access, warnings, change of operating mode and remote control via app (iOS/Android) or browser. Installation instructions (PDF) and a short installation video are provided as support for WEM connection.
